Shabby Rose Bookends

I found two tacky, red and gold bookends at an estate sale a couple of weekends ago. They were in a desperate need of a makeover, so I decided to take them home and make them pretty.


This is the condition I found them in.



I painted them a creamy white, distressed them and then applied Ralph Lauren galze in smoke color. This was a very easy project and they look soooo much better!
