Mid-Week Design Inspiration: Dream Kitchens

I prefer kitchens that are an eclectic mix (no matching counters, cabinets and islands from Home Depot) and creative. I searched everywhere to bring you this lovely collection of unique, dream kitchens. What does your dream kitchen look like?

Do you prefer a traditional kitchen with a few unexpected pieces, like this one? I like the creamy painted cabinets paired with this beautiful antique center island.

Or.... A fresh, white kitchen with a large picture window? I love the gray walls, open shelving, industrial lights and the painted green, iron chairs.

Or.... Something more formal like this gray kitchen? I love gray, although I usually like a more pale hue. Gray is the new white! The antique center island incorporates a relaxed element into an otherwise very formal kitchen and adds some character to the space.

Maybe you want a more romantic kitchen. This classic, breezy kitchen has beautiful french doors and a pretty chandelier. I love the marble countertop too!

Or..... Are you looking for a cottage style space? I love the industrial lights above the weathered, marble-topped island.

This all white kitchen with a very rustic farm table shows a nice contrast between refinement and simplicity.

How about this beauty for something a little different? Isn't the painted, arched ceiling incredible? I just love windows that open out. I can almost feel the warm breeze coming through.

I hope you enjoyed my little tour of inspirational kitchens. Which one is your favorite?

I really love the gray kitchen with the free-standing island. When I buy my dream home, I want you to design my dream kitchen!

What great looking kitchens...I love mismatched cabinets also...which is why my kitchen has both dark and light...I posted some pix of my kitchen taken the day we were FINALLY able to move into the house lol...You can check them out here.

Actually if you visit April in my archives, it is dedicated to the building of the kitchen...that was one of the longest and most stressful months of my life.
