Chandeliers add so much enchanting warmth and sparkle, so why not put them in every room of the house?
I love this bedroom with the chandelier hanging from the open-beamed ceiling. This room looks a lot like my current living room, minus the natural colored wood beams. I am working on a large chandelier to hang in my living room and can't wait to show you the finished result!

They look lovely in a sun room too, with all the natural light shining through the crystals. Don't you love the shape of this vintage, crystal chandelier?

Look at the charm this chandelier adds to the cottage kitchen below. (I know this post is about chandeliers, but one of the reasons I chose this photo is because I am in love with the antique, marble-topped table on caster wheels).

You must have a splendid chandelier in the dining room too! It is, after all, the traditional place for one.

Why not dress up the bathroom with one too? A chandelier adds so much glamour and sophistication to a bathroom... and wouldn't it be nice to take a relaxing bath underneath a sparkling chandelier?
I wish I had a library, complete with a sliding ladder and large chandelier dripping in crystals!

I really created this post to motivate myself to finish three chandeliers that are on the floor in the corner of my living room. I love picking up new projects, but I do not always finish old projects, before adding new ones to the pile, and therein lies the problem. One of my new year's resolutions is to finish all the projects I have laying around the house before I go to any more yard sales!
I wish you all a happy new year filled with inspiration and motivation to tackle all of your resolutions!

Forget about "modern" bathrooms. I absolutely love that country bathroom! If I ever get my own house...
I love chandeliers too and have been looking for one to redo. Great inspiration!
Love your new blog header too!
It's funny, I have two chandeliers waiting to be hung, my thoughts were the same, at least one in the Guestroom and one in the Bathroom. However they're still "waiting". I think it's one of those projects the handyman will have to do all in one day. The inspiration photos look amazing. Hope your year is going well so far. xoxo tami
I'm with you. I love chandeliers and have them in almost every room, most of them I made. Some rooms have more than one:) Some are not even hooked up yet but hang there for me to enjoy and dream about the day they will be;) They always add a bit of glamour to a room.

Hey Amanda... Had to stop by and see your latest posting. I so totally agree with you about chandeliers - that's why I've been adding them in my house. When we redid our master bath and bedroom last year I put one in the bathroom, and one in the bedroom. (Note to self... need to do blog entry on that.) I JUST put a new (thrifty find) light up in my dining room last month, and "blinged" it up. It will be one of my next postings, so be sure to keep an eye out for it. I LOVE how it turned out!!!! Maybe it will motivate you to get busy with the ones hang'in out in your living room!!! Hugs back to you!! Debbie
I just ordered two chandys for my bathroom. Each one will hang over the two sinks. Can't wait to install them. I love your chandy images, and totally agree all rooms should have one! Following your blog now too.
